How on earth do you link up these cards all up together?

Mining doesn't require 16x PCIe slots. Each card requires a 1x slot and you can buy specialised motherboards that have 19 PCIe 1x slots on them

Could the GA100 be very bad news for miners using gaming cards?

the A100 is rumoured to be $3000 and no miner is going to buy that when you would be able to buy 4 3070s for less than that and get a higher hashrate

Why are a lot of GPU's out of stock?

There is a current chip shortage that is expected to last for the next 1.6 years until manufacturing can pick up.

Cheaper to buy Gold Bar than a GPU!

Yeah you can now buy RTX 3080s at the cheap price of around £1500 online. It is sad times indeed

    3090 FTW3 Ultra Problems

Can I ask why they would give you an option of a refurbished card? Surely it's either the choice of returning it to wherever you bought it from and either getting a refund/new card, or sending it to the manufacturer to see if it can be repaired

Bargain 3060 on OCUK Right now

You just have to be in the members market to get the voucher code to get the card at msrp. It's actually better this way (you've just gotta work up to 1000 posts). Stop the Bots!

    Gaming build for £1000

The reason you can't see any prices is because as of late there is no gpus for sale anywhere. Unfortunately this is not expected to improve for the next 1.6 years until the chip shortage is over and manufacturing can pick up

    Pcie 4.0 riser cables

PCIe gen 4.0 isn't really needed for the latest generation of 3000 series cards, but if you're adamant then the brand I'd recommend is Linkup. Their 4.0 risers often go on sale

What do you do with your old systems?

Normally I never have an old system as I use the old one to fund the new one! As of right now as long as your PC isn't massively outdated then I'd suggest you try and sell it as the market value of most computer components (specifically GPUs) has skyrocketed

    Got the upgrade itch

I'd say a cpu upgrade to something newer, and an upgrade to a faster ram speed is much needed

Pc Restarting when running certain games. Rx 6800

Have you tried unseating and reseating the card? It could be something as simple as that, or a driver causing some bugs

    32" \ 27" 144hz 4k

Definitely the 27 inch. You can find some great 27 inch 1440p 144-240hz monitor deals on the interwebs

    Gaming build for £1000

At this pricepoint 4k would be an option if you could actually buy 3060 Tis or 3070s, but for now the worldwide gpu shortage is going to cause some issues for you. First step I'd say is try and get a gpu, if you can then get a 30 series (don't overpay massively)

If you search discord part alert on google, the first result is a Partalert-Discord web-address to an invite by RecursiveGecko. That's the right one

RGB Problems, not sure what to do.

For keeping the patterns in sync there is no other option than to buy all the same brand and model of fans to ensure they are all using the same software. Each brand has a different software
