GPU for AI (considering RTX 3060 12GB)?

That's an interesting suggestion. The A770 has a generous 16GB Vram, however it was never widely available in this country. Whereas the price in the US seems to have fallen nearer to $200 here in the UK it is over £300.

GPU for AI (considering RTX 3060 12GB)?

I'm interested in getting a GPU for running AI apps locally (mainly text and image). As I understand it I would best consider nVidia cards with as much vram as possible. Given a very limited budget (up to about £250) I could probably run to a second hand RTX 3060 12Gb card - but I'm open to...

Thoughts or recommendations for a static site generator?

Thanks for your suggestion ChroniC. I hadn't heard of Strapi before, I'll certainly put Strapi + GraphlQl plugin on the short list if I'm looking for a CMS in future. For now I've decided to go with the Svelte framework and Sveltekit builder https://kit.svelte.dev/ My intention was to go with...

Anyone using Python+Pandas to replace Excel?

Hi gpuerrilla, Are you saying you're impressed with Pandas or Excel? I've been using Excel a longtime and think it's fantastic, however, even though I'm only starting to use Pandas I can see how it could be useful far beyond the scope of Excel. I'm thinking that Pandas could be better for my...

Anyone using Python+Pandas to replace Excel?

Hi everybody. Sorry I haven't been around to respond to your replies (everyone a great answer by the way!). I think @peterwalkley and @Mesai identified a key attraction of Excel is it's interactivity, which to my mind is both a strength and a weakness. Initially anyone could open up an Excel...
