I do this. add -dxlevel 70 to the end of your shortcut, and run that rather then Steam here are the others: -dxlevel 80 -dxlevel 81 also i set the height/width as it doesnt stick otherwise so my CS:S shortcut looks like: "E:\Program Files\Steam\Steam.exe" -applaunch 240 -w 1280 -h 800...

Another point missed is that it is good to get tech to market (DX10), without a userbase no developer will aim to use it. Look at AMD and 64bit chips, they came out and still there is nothing you need them for, even Vista has a 32bit version ! but at least it pushed for x64 and Vista 64 to be...

Another thing you are forgetting is that you dont NEED a 3rd card for physics. You can have a crossfire setup and decide that you dont want to use that 2nd card for graphics in a game, instead you want to use it for physics. Then for the next game you might decide that you would rather have for...

WOW - I haven't heard that before, but it does make a great deal of sense. At the moment, if I want to give a game/etc full resources, I go and shut down all the Services and terminate unecessary threads in Task Manager, this gives the app all the windows rescources and CPU cycles available...

OMG - that looks amazing!!! I have seen the other vids but seeing so much real-time gameplay makes it look so much more amazing :D Does anyone know what resolution the game was running at @ E3 ? As hearing that they were running on 1900xtx Xfire'd, makes me hope it wasnt @ 1024 or some lame...
