    Using your mobile abroard

Just remember to turn off auto data switching and set data to eSIM. Do that either on the plane or just after you landed. This is so just in case if the signal drops it goes to home sim which then will rack up a ton of data charges.

*** Big Fat Weight Loss Thread ***

I remember last time I was in the 75kg or so I bought a whole new wardrobe, naturally clothes look better when you don't have a belly so I got anything and everything. Some questionable fashion choices, especially now I am older. But there are a few items that I would love to be able to wear...

*** Big Fat Weight Loss Thread ***

I don't think i mentioned this, the reason I got started in this weight loss again was because 4 weeks ago I went to get some new trousers, same size as the one I was wearing, 34" and the new pair didn't fit. I thought "same size, it will fit", but it didn't. I was too lazy to go back to swap...

Are you ranking them now? This is okay because there are worse offenders out there? This isn't about industrialisation, this is about profit. I am talking about we ruined this place enough already, it needs to set boundaries. What you are saying is, we have started it now, might as well...

    Deep sea mining

What mess? Look outside your front door, and by that I don't mean your actual front door, I mean around the world, and I don't mean holiday programs but places like Amazon forest. Look at the micro plastics in the oceans, look at the temperature rises. Yes I have tech, and if we run out, so...

    Deep sea mining

It is definitely more than 1 and definitely more than 1 tanker worth of fuel/minerials they are trying to mine. The word infinite illustrates that once the door is opened, it will be a LOT....just look at how much mining we do on land...and how long we have done it and what mess it has made...

    Deep sea mining

There is a difference between 1 oil spillage with a limited amount (on the tanker) vs a continual, daily extract from an infinite number of companies around the world doing it. Can you not to the math?

    Deep sea mining

How about we twist it another way....let's just mess it all up, eventually the sun will die and along with the entire solar system anyway when that happens, so what does it matter what we do now huh? What about on a smaller scale? The government take away all local services to you, from...

It was entertainment if predictable. But I knew that before going in so it was par for the course.

    Photography Show Birmingham

I went there today, met up with Jonny for a bit. Didn’t get anything substantial, they didn’t have the new Godox trigger I wanted but I did find the perfect medium size backpack by Tenba Fulton v2 14L that can fit under the seat in an airplane. Tried the A9III, dead impressed, the AF, the EVF...

Siliconslave's how to make espresso thread

I didn’t ask how long you’ve been doing it, I merely said lay down some paper towels and check. They are so small that it is very hard to see, that’s the purposes of the white paper towels. I thought I nailed it too…then I tested it.

Siliconslave's how to make espresso thread

First thing in the morning, before coffee, trying to make it perfect isn’t the best time in the day for consistency. Try lay some white paper towels around the machine, you will find micro drops all over. Even if it happens once every 100 cups it would annoy me…how good at you? Lol

Siliconslave's how to make espresso thread

The 1 thing that IMO helps with even water flow is a shower screen mesh. Also, bottomless filter is only good for learning and for filming. It is not good for day to day use as it just goes everywhere. I much prefer a single sprout.

Oh yes. I detach the PD straps when in storage. Just push and pull in 1 motion.

The anime thread sequel (it's still not as good as the Manga though),

Since we are asking the questions in English then Sub means you are watching it in Japanese with English Subtitles. Dub means you are watching it with English Dub. Whether you turn English sub on too is not relevant. If you speak Japanese and you watch it with Japanese subtitles then this is...

    The "New Gear/Willy Waving" thread

Sits on top? You can always detach it if you don't want that. They are useful because I don't need to buy that many straps. I have quite a few cameras, I just put the PD dongles on all the cameras and then attach the strap I want onto the camera I am going to use that that. Store the camera...

Yup. It doesn't look like it but it is very secure. You really need to push it down to release it.
