To get a nas that you can stick 4 drives in your looking at over £200
What benefits would NAS give me over just sticking the same drives in my media server pc thats linked to the tv

worked for me on windows xp 32bit
new 3tb hitatchi internal drive
with the drive being a secondary data drive, not tried it as a boot drive dont think you can on win xp
sold a 1TB hard drive on ebay samsung f1 internal as im upgrading my data storage to 3tbs
never run dban before but just fired it up on autonuke and it thinks it will take 14 hours , is that per pass? or for the 3 passes in total

i guess about a year back i got a 2tb samsung which has been great touch wood
a mates pc just died which got me to thinking its been a while since i backed everything up
so want another 2TB drive
