We put our kitchen purchase on 0% credit cards. I have enough in savings (earning interest) to pay it off when the deal ends though.
No other credit other than mortgage. I do drive a 15 year old car though and not a new one.
So the details have just been finalised.
4.99% increase.
They are also charging £40 per year for green waste (+20 per year for every additional bin). They are collecting all of the green coloured 'green waste' bins and replacing with brown bins for those who pay the money - seems a bit...
My brother is a 2E0 and also still has is M6 licence, he has an email from OfCom in relation to changes relating to his FL. I'm assuming they are sending notifications out in batches.
I surrendered by FL/IM as soon as I got my Full ticket but it appears there's a bit of confusion about...
I think it has just been other priorities getting in the way unfortunately and yes I really enjoy working into Central America/Caribbean on a late evening but 20-10 has been closing at 8-9pm.
Since my last post I've had a bit of time and decided to focus on 10m only so I put a 3 element...
I think it will further encourage people to get rid of shrubs - we'll see more of these plots like you see in new builds, fences all round and a grass area and nothing else.
I'm not sure how they are going to track it, are they going to send collection teams with lists going, Number 25 paid...
Ours are also looking to charge £40 a year for green waste collections. Notwithstanding Police and Fire, waste collection is the only tangible thing I get. Yes I know a lot goes to Social Services etc but I don't seem to get much from this deal.
I would agree, I'm fairly confident (grown up around cars my dad owned a small indy growing up), but brakes always make me nervous and I find myself checking checking and checking again when working on anything to do with the brake system.
Indeed good news,
I have a Clockwork in the shed which i've hardly used since i bought it (because i'm fat, lazy and unfit).
I also still have my P7 from the 90s which I was planning to restore at some point.
I recently did a kitchen refurb and one of the things i struggled with was finding a decent kettle and toaster at a reasonable price. I have bosch/Samsung appliances but the Bosch Kettle/Toasters look a bit naff IMO.
I ended up with cheap delonghi thing.
Just renewed - about £180 for building and contents. I don't have accidental damage cover because I'd be unlikely claim on it.
I don't have many high value items either, just push bikes and radio equipment. Just a fairly standard 3 bed semi.
I'm experiencing a bit of a drop in interest. I've worked that PJ5 on a few bands recently but that's the only thing since November. The bands/areas I like to work are currently not aligning to my work pattern.
Got T2C card back recently which I was fairly cuffed about but - Meh!
This is giving me nightmares. I did a back to brick resto on my small 1930's semi, spent many months full of dust and this is giving me flashbacks,:p:p:p
