@Gibbo just wanted to say the way in which my RMA has been handled has restored my faith in OCUK...
Gigabyte Gaming OC 3080 delivered 18/12/2020 was found to have faulty power connector.
RMA raised 18/12/2020
RMA accepted 19/12/2020
Card delivered to DPD collection point 20/12/2020
Card arrived...
Make sure you check the PCI-e connectors when it arrives with actual cables to see if they fit, do not cancel anything until itbis installed and working...The pins on my OCUK delivered card were bent on one of the connectors...I have had to RMA it as I was not going to risk bending them back...
I am going to RMA it my dude...I am not jamming a screwdriver into a £750 graphics card, never have never will...The power connector is on the left side is also loose and the build quality sucks of this suck...The rest of the card is top drawer...
Well my 3080 Gaming OC arrived today...The right PCI-e power connector is borked so an RMA is on the cards. Tried 4 different ones and it won't snap in..It is like the port is too shallow and the left one is loose and wobbles....Totally gutted!!! Those with gaming OC make sure that you check...
Shipping confirmation for 33 in Gigabyte OC received, what an absolute nightmare this has been...
@Gibbo & @ScottiB thanks for springing back into action with the updates this last week, honestly if you had done this a few weeks earlier you could have avoided a TON of canellations and lost...
The 3080ti is going to be a nightmare to get a hold of and I suspect the price is going to be £1,000. The 3080 was just a paper launch to get demand bubbling so they can charge 1,000 for the ti. Expect to get scalped by retailers and well...scalpers,so the cost will be close to a stock 3090 when...
@ScottiB if I received shipping notification today (not expecting to as 34th in queue for GB Gaming OC) and I have paid for next day delivery but DPD fail to deliver next day due to demand yadayada, do I get that refunded or compensated?
@Gibbo @ScottiB last week there were meant to be 20-30 Gigabyte Gaming OC cards lurking about on those 40 pallets that were sitting about I believe, have they been booked in and accounted for do you know? If they have any movement on GB this week. Thank you please?
PS Every time we get an update...
@Gibbo thanks for the update and sorry to hear about your personal dramas...Scottie said that there were Gigabyte cards landing this week...Any indication on figures for those please?
I promised that today would be cancellation day for me however; if there are GB cards landing this week and hopefully with a few cancellations from last weeks queue update I may "bag" my preorder in the next two-three weeks. @Andrei147 let us know when you get that magic e-mail please dude. I am...
@ScottiB with respect you are right there are hundreds of people following this thread...Hundreds of people who have paid hundreds of pounds and are customers at the end of the day...What is seriously lacking here is fundamental customer service in what you have posted... Gibbo hasn't and...
Gigabyte Gaming OC 55 - 45. If 45 don't land for Tuesday I am cancelling and will make do with the 3070 FE I got elsewhere for CP2077 and will be like so many others who won't be buying a single thing from OCUK in the future @ScottiB seeing as you know about Gigabyte what are my chances with...
A table that I have seen elsewhere on the internet debunks the 10,000 shipping container rumour for me...Stock is out there and in volumes FAR greater than OCUK have been able to procure, my card of choice here has been cleared on that table...VERY ANNOYED
Same here. I nearly pulled the trigger 4 times last night...If it was as simple as shelling out for it and having peace of mind that I have the best for this entire generation of cards then so be it however given Nvidias track record of releasing ti and super cards just to 1-up AMD I feel that...
