I've been looking at the Philips 2000i (2020 model) and I have seen the Hoover model which also filters PM 10, not sure if that's absolutely necessary. Trying to decide between those two.
Appreciate anyone more knowledgeable to chime in.
I am getting 4x2 borderline Gen 3 speeds on the 2nd slot for the similar drive (non-plus version) and I can't seem to find an explanation. Back and forth with Asus and they don't seem to know why.
Just be turning CO negative 25 all cores gave me a boost of nearly 300 pts in Cinebench R20, from around 6050 to 6330. Temps in idle dropped around 2-3c. It's stable and trying to boost the single core by tweaking multiple settings is just a hassle, so getting a decent boost by doing the bare...
Yeh done all that and still getting PCIe Gen 3 speeds on the 2nd slot. I have a 1080ti, but surely there are enough lanes for two Gen 4 drives?
Struggling to pinpoint if it's a mobo issue or the drive itself, so was wondering if anyone else is having the same problem.
Anyone using 2 PCIe Gen 4 nvme drives on this board with reduced speeds on the 2nd slot? Getting 4x4 on the first and 4x2 on the 2nd.
I've been back and forth with the useless Asus ''support'' and no luck getting a solution.
What priority in Windows are people running on? Get higher results with the high setting but interested what people use as a baseline.
I got 6022 (5800x) on default everything a few days after a fresh install, and that was on ''below normal'' priority setting without realising. Since then, I...
None of the people you speak to have any clue what's going on or can even give you an ETA. Useless.
What happened to the OcUK staff who said it was 10 days out 2 weeks ago...?
I've kept my pre-order at another place but would prefer somewhere UK based.
Strange thing is they have been shipping them out in small numbers. People in NZ and Australia have been getting them, as well as a few in Europe. There just doesn't seem to be a widespread official rollout in their biggest markets which is odd.
Pre-ordered from a competitor for around £440 including shipping, which is a bit more than I was planning to spend on a motherboard but ah well.
They only had about 5 in stock coming in on the 26th, gone within an hour.
Had the same thing mate. First time they said it was single, then next time it was dual, then they finally verified it by the extension number. Their customer service is a bit of a mess.
I've had it confirmed by Crucial that the extension M16FE1 is the Dual Rank version and the M8FB1 is single rank which you can find on the ram sticks. They are selling both at the same time which is causing confusion.
Got the same ram and after numerous confusing back and forths with Crucial and reading multiple forums, Crucial support say that the extension M16FE1 is the Dual Rank version and the M8FB1 is single rank. I lucked out with the DR.
Bit strange they are mixing them up like that.
