Just on the curious side so tested 4.5ghz all cores @1.175v
Runs very stable/low temps and score seems pretty good.
I know these cpu's are best fine tuned via PBO and curve optimiser.. But for my usage and to keep fans on a lower level/temps down. This seems to be a nice alternative.
Thoughts?
Just noticed the Ratings for the AIO fans are up to 500-1800rpm+10%
Still doesn't explain why they sound so loud considering they're rated at a maximum ≤30 dB(A)
Hi All
I have a deepcool castle 360 rgb v2 AIO cooler keeping my 5950x (semi cool).
I've had an issue with one of the AIO fans generating a noise which isn't normal. I've been in touch with deepcool and they sent me a brand new replacement single fan.
My AIO has always been super loud.. even...
Update:
Returned the CPU as I wasn't comfortable with the heat it was producing. I fully tested AIO and it seemed to be running fine.
CPU was returned (bought brand new from supplier) and they've issued a replacement immediately and accepted a faulty return.
Just installed new CPU and much...
To be fair I'm not promoting anything about this company so if even asking about a way of returns query for a company other then overclockers is worth being banned for then I'd rather not be a part of said community.
Hi
I just wondered if anyone has any knowledge of what is involved when Currys pick up an item you're returning?
I've been told I just need to securely package the item up for DPD to collect on said given date.. But does not provide me with a shipping address..
On the email sent to me it...
I can certainly give this a go.
I do have a brand new unopened cooler master hyper 212 evo cpu cooler but not sure i could use this to test with such a high heat cpu type.
Let me know if this IS something I could test with.
Weirdly it doesn't really feel like it. And it doesn't feel like the tubes going to and from cpu get more then like warm at best.. but assumed that was just good cooling/insulating
Agree and will try a different cooler should this not work.
I can't afford to have a £700 cpu getting to those temperatures that quickly and need to rule cooler out or as culprit before looking to RMA cpu.
I'm certainly leaning more towards pump issue.
I'm quite tempted to order a noctua nh-d15 and stick that in (ugly as they are) to see how it compares.
Thermal paste wise I'm pretty certain I've done this correctly as I've done many PC builds before and always applied paste correctly.
Just...
Have considered fans at the bottom but given how noisy PC is already I can't imagine what it would be like.
Anyone local to me who could come help me rebuild/check I've built correctly. I've built several PC's over the years and never had this issue.:confused::cry::cry:
