So after switching to dp all my problems went away, 138hz 10bp and g sync. This makes no sense whatsoever but hey, it works.

I don't speak/read good cyka, but are you saying your g sync, color bit rate is fine in 138hz while using a DP cable? How can this be, i thought that the DP does not have enough data bandwidth to even support 4k 120hz. Is anyone else having issues with g sync in 138hz with the HDMI??

Yes i can, it even apears as 12bit (in 120hz lol) on the OSD Info tab, but AFAIK it does nothing.

Yet another problem i've been facing for a while now with the v033 firmware is that g sync is completely unusable with 138hz, in previous versions it just used to spaz out in certain programs, but now if g sync is on even in fullscreen only mode, the monitor goes to black for a few seconds than...

The best part is asus considers current hdr as "fine", "the way it should be" and "no one else is complaining about it", even tho it's completely subpar and requires work arounds just to be decent when it's the same panel as c2 that works better out of the box. This crushes hopes of them...

So after using the v33 for a few months now, the 138hz is still bugged. I still get the wakeup isue even in 120khz and on top of that 138khz seems to introduce a new problem now where certain apps (like libre office for example) when i open their window, my monitor completely spazes out and goes...

I've gotten the standby problem once so far after the v033 on 138hz, much better than before, but it seems it still happens.

I've had the v023 when i came and it was awfull (wonky hdr, very slow and those constant messages), the only version afaik peaople were complaining of bricking their monitors was v032, thus they pulled it out. I'm using v033, that's the newest one.

Still no new firmware, so much for mid november. Also in nvidia settings bumping the digital vibrance setting to 60-70 really helps the washed out hdr in window sdr content. Not sure if it's a good idea to use, but everything seems much nicer.

It does not actually support hdr, it's a marketing thing and nothing more. Sure you can enable it, but it will look awfull, becouse the ips panels can't do proper contrast. Most "newer" ips/va monitors do this.

Third time it happened my system crashed and the fourth time i restarted the monitor and i still see the static and then with the screen on i manually restarted my pc and immediately i saw my bios. This makes me believe that the actual problem is not the monitor, but the gpu or the driver...
