I had. The OP does have a similar, but different question. I was just wondering what you thought regarding the 3090, not the 3080 vs a 6900xt, not a 6800xt. No biggie. I'll go watch some more benchmarks.

As the guy to beat on all the benchmarks threads I follow, what would you go for: 6900xt or 3090? I'm so tempted to pull the trigger on a 6900xt, but they're mad expensive as nothing comes close to msrp. Mostly racing games here and very little RT for me, but might feel like a huge sidestep...

Many mobos allow you to save your current BIOS OC UV profile to a usb stick. Check yours out, because if thats an option, dead easy: flash bios, load memory stick, job done.

Yup, BIOS enabled BAR/SAM on a b450 gaming pro carbon and a 3080 fe.

Fair enough, makes sense. As long as I can enable it on anything, users can go out there and test their **** out. I'm sure there's some old stuff (i.e. all racing games I play) that would never get tested by them. If I give it a go and its no better, switch it off and get on with my life.

So NVIDIA has BAR support limited to something like 8 games? Isn't AMD's implementation game agnostic and, if so, why can't nvidia do the same? This isn't DLSS... :/

Although I disagree with 11.50 shipping, we ain't quite fleeced with that shipping charge when compared to the markups we see everywhere else. It could be the case of being greatful for grabbing something at MSRP, or it could be the case of having a moan about 11.50 and them not being able to...

My opinion? Mostly bloatware. Bugger that rubbish and afterburner your way to peak performance.

So true. That 3080FE dream was keeping me up at night, so I went back to it like an addict. Terrible.

That was ******* bonkers today. Managed the card I've wanted for 3 months. 3080FE should arrive tomorrow. Just gotta figure out what's up as had copped a 6800 reference from OCUK when Gibbo pulled his first 3D printer trick. Been running some benchmarks today and kinda feel the 6800 is maxing...
