Update!!!!!! I went out and bought a second hand quad Core Xenon (x3210) Managed to get it from 2.13GHZ to 3.2GHZ stabkle and easy and am now getting 50-70 FPS in ultra!!! Turns out it was CPU! Not bad for £30 upgrade lol

yea just contemplating this cause a q6600-q6700 are retailing for £50-£75 Im guessing I can get a Mboard/CPU/Ram for £300 (£150 CPU, £50 mem, £100 Mb) Save myself £60 on q6600 and maybe get £90 my bundle, so its a £150 upgrade........

Is a Q6600 the highest I can go on socket 775?

SORTED!!! Simply removed other pcie card and voila! Apperently if you run (in my board atleast) other PCIE devices forces x1 in second one

no link :( using 9.8 which is totally different to previous but when you click hardware option it says secondary card disabled, yet in device manager and bios all enabled
