Ukraine Invasion - Please do not post videos showing attacks/similar

https://www.tagesschau.de/ausland/putininterview100.html Putin 2008: "Crimea is not a disputed territory. There has been no ethnic conflict there, unlike the conflict between South Ossetia and Georgia. Russia has long recognized the current borders of today's Ukraine. In general, we have...

How do you spend your evenings in your 30s, 40s, and beyond?

2 girls, 7 and 17. I find very few things better in life than talk with my kids and notice how more mature and wiser they got as a result of previous conversations we've had.

Warning - Online "E" store - SSD stolen, likely in their warehouse

That's shocking. I don't live in a bubble, but didn't realise this is fairly common, based on what you and others wrote here. Some people do suck

Warning - Online "E" store - SSD stolen, likely in their warehouse

I guess I'll never know, but given that second layer of tape was under parcel sticker, I would bet on warehouse.

Warning - Online "E" store - SSD stolen, likely in their warehouse

That's encouraging, I didn't know what what to expect yet, hopefully they'll make it good without much arguing.

Warning - Online "E" store - SSD stolen, likely in their warehouse

Based on how the parcel looked like. There was one layer of clear tape, which was very neatly cut on the bottom only, and another layer on top of, exactly same same/cut marks. Parcel sticker was on top of both layers, so I think that's 99% inside warehouse job, after packing, before dispatch...

Warning - Online "E" store - SSD stolen, likely in their warehouse

I don't post much - but I'm lurker here years (only registered recently), and if I have seen post like that, I would have taken video while unpacking the box, which would be best evidence. So that's the least I can do - help & warn others, not asking for a pity or having a tantrum.

Warning - Online "E" store - SSD stolen, likely in their warehouse

Where's the drama coming from? Where did I say that? All I said was a word of warning and likely thieves in their warehouse, based on the evidence. That might actually save someone hassle. That's far from rant about company being awful, evil.

Warning - Online "E" store - SSD stolen, likely in their warehouse

Thanks for the tip. SSD was just under £300 (which was pretty good for that SSD) - not end of the world, but it's not peanuts either.

Warning - Online "E" store - SSD stolen, likely in their warehouse

Nothing as of yet - phone lines closed for the weekend before delivery, eNote raised but they state response time as 2 business days. I'll update thread as to what happens, hope they make this good and I won't have to go through the bank. I've shopped with them (a lot) for 14 years. I guess I...

Warning - Online "E" store - SSD stolen, likely in their warehouse

Thanks for the point about competitor, I've updated reference to what people typically do when referring (hope this is ok now). As for the evidence - it is actually very clear, first tape cut, second applied on top, no seal on the SSD packaging, pretty obvious. Definitely going to avoid them...

Warning - Online "E" store - SSD stolen, likely in their warehouse

[/IMG] Word of warning for people ordering from E* place - there are thieves in their warehouse. I've ordered FireCuda 520 2GB from them only to find SSD packaging was empty and unsealed, with seal removed. The outer box have been very carefully tampered with, the first tape has been cut...

Images of items I have purchased (except trainers)

Great choice, we have slightly older, stainless steel model for over 2y and it's absolutely brilliant. Performance, usability, capacity - can't beat it in that size range.

    LG 48CX OLED - 4K 120 Hz

Long term review: I've been using it as a monitor for the past 9 months, 12-14hr a day, best purchase ever, first monitor I can't fault at all, and I've been through 11 monitors before getting this. IPS, TN, flat, curved, ultra wide, wide, 4k - nothing compares to it. Screen burn? Nothing, 95%...

**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S21 Family Thread ****

Coming from S20 5G (and S10+ before that). Battery life is much, much better. Doesn't heat up as much. Screen is brilliant. Cameras are great, especially real bokeh on main and 10x optical. So much easier now to not miss great shot, and while I love my A9, the best camera is the one you have...

*** Big Fat Weight Loss Thread ***

Yeah, IF is great. I've been doing it for 12 years now, way back, when the concept just started to materialise. From 16/8 to 23/1 omad, that's while running a lot and doing weights training. Did few 48h too, just to try, was a lot easier than I thought.
