I bought an Onkyo NR676 from Richers on Friday for £500 as i'm in same situation, my current AVR isnt 4K/HDR compiant. Very happy with it so far.

I'm after a 55" for upto £800 and looking to get a Samsung 55MU7000 in the next week or so but they are currently £949 so hoping for a deal. Tempted by the Hisense and can probably get the 65" 6800 with discounts but the Samsung is apparently much better.

I would happily sign up for Sports but I just cant justify the £6 HD charge. Fair enough 5+ years ago when HD was in its infancy but not now. I just dont get that I can now watch UHD but have to pay extra for HD!
