I use the wireless WAN on my 2860ac to use up the tethering allowance on my phone when I want faster internet :)

edit: oh yeah, the 2830n didn't get that feature, sorry, like the others said, use a basic AP like a wr702n in...
Prices on hardware that's not being restocked continues to be sold for what it was bought for or what the clearance prices go down to, so maxwell GPUs are comparatively great price/performance right now (hence why I've gone from AMD 280x to a 970). It will be a while until anything that can...
The Raijintek Styx looks like it would fit everything in :)
There's also the Silverstone cases like the SG09 but that doesn't seem to be very available and the other ones put the PSU above the cpu so no good for tower coolers.
The username and password aren't actually stored on the router from what I've been able to find so far, you do need to get the password over the phone somehow. I've heard of someone doing that successfully.
Absolutely horrible routers despite the 11ac wireless, I can't even use it as an access...
What you're describing sounds like interference from other 5GHz devices. The 80MHz channel (say channels 100+104+108+112) requires that all those channels are free to get full speed. If they're in use, it won't use those channels (20MHz blocks) and adjust speeds accordingly.
Have you tried...
turn off hardware acceleration, it causes some people a lot of issues at the moment, it's set to Auto by default
changing the modem code shouldn't require a factory reset or anything
Use the vector 2 modem code, it's better for just about everything, I'm on adsl2+ and it's better
On 5GHz, don't pick channels 120, 124 or 128, unless you want to wait 10 minutes for it to do dfs checking.
ixel: the connection control bit of upnp should be unnecessary though? best to just turn...
I paid a £66 final value fee on something I sold a few months ago so I can understand the seller's reasoning. They'll cancel the transaction on ebay to avoid the final value fees (£50!!) so there would be no ebay protection, just the feedback which they have, which should be sufficient anyway...
I decided to call them the other day about turning off interleaving, the call wait time and the queue system was horrendous and I didn't get through until 22:20 so I thought they were just going to cut the call off, but were surprisingly good about it once I got through :) Interleaving was...
I live in a new build as well, but I have pretty decent broadband, I get a whopping 10mbps because it's apparently not commercially viable to install fiber for my block of flats :D
I've been using this with a little 4g router and it's been really nice having 30-70mbps...
It still shows an interleave depth though, as far as I'm aware it will only be fastpath / g.inp if the interleave depth is 0.
Try updating the firmware on the hg612? it'll need 030sp08 to support it properly
The Vigor 120 is a pretty simple device, set it up in MPoA mode with the VPI & VCI that your sky router use, beyond that, if it's Sky MER then use the DHCP settings from your Sky router on the AEBS, the Draytek doesn't have much to do with it annd it's better to think of it as an ADSL > Ethernet...
I've got the duronic Easy 2 monitor arm for a Dell 2408WFP and an LG 22MP65 (so light by comparison). The dell tends to pull the whole arm about when I move it but it's nice and solid and I haven't had any issues with it in the six months I've had it.
It's a nice idea but frustrating for me - I live in a new build block of flats, in a town that's fully FTTC enabled and has Virgin as well, but I checked with Openreach and my block of flats is not "economically viable" to hook up to an FTTC cabinet so it's ADSL forever for me :)
I guess I'm one...
A longer video card occupies the space that the modular PSU connectors would or any PSU over 140mm. I have the SG08-lite and like it, but it needs only non-modular power supplies, at more than 140mm in length to fit a decent video card :) I went with the seasonic G-550
Same, their network has fallen over :D

I don't think it affects FTTC so much, just us unfortunates stuck on ADSL.
I bought a Gigabyte 280x windforce rev2 off of someone on the MM and afaik it was used for mining, which dropped its price a bit. It's a factory OC card and has trouble going even a little bit over its default speed of 1100 but otherwise seems to work perfectly? I'm happy with it so far...
To modify the backplate I had to use a dremel, it needed quite a lot of material ground off including 1mm around the 775 and 1366 hole fittings to avoid destroying little SMT components.
The black fan on there is the fan that comes with the H90 with the radiator above it and it narrowly avoids...
