Once you do it don't go through the hand wash places. The acid they spray on will just strip it straight off. It's not as hard wearing as they like you to think.
If you are looking for something more comfortable than a Fiesta for the motorway I would not recommend the GT. The suspension is pretty hard and road nose is pretty noisy.
The Brera is much more suited for long motorway journeys and is more comfortable than the GT.
The alarm will still go off I think even with the battary disconected. Are you parking on a busy road? If so it could be cars whizzing past setting it off. This was the problem with mine. I just parked it around the corner on a quiet back street and it never went off. And if it did I could...
I had the same problem with mine. I think you pull the start card out and then press the engine start button five times or something. This switches off the volumatic sensors. May solve your problem, but may not. I just parked mine around the corner. Problem solved ;-)
I have had a 147 for around 18 months now and not had anything go wrong with at all. An alfa is essentialy as reliable as any other car these days with parts shared with GM and Fiat.
I think the interior is a matter of opinion, I love it but obviously some will hate it.
Used alfas are...
Been wondering this myself. I would say go with a new one as you will get a 12 month warranty. Plus the newer mid budget amps sound as good as the lower high end market three years ago. If that makes sense.
There is not much between the three amps you have mentioned really.
I think I just jizzed my pants that is so nice.
If I could fit one in the garage I would have one tomorrow but I would have to LPG it...
It also reminds of the guy from 'Bread' with the tight leather trousers. lol classic 90's :-)
I have had my 147 for around six months now. It's an M-Jet 150 Ti on a 56 plate. It's done 45,000 miles. The diesels are straight from GM so my car has the exact same engine as the Astra SRI 150. Not sure if that is considered a good or bad thing.
One of the wishbones needs replacing...
Never thought of trying something like that. I don't fancy spraying the whole centre console it is probably a sod to remove. They don't do a silver but I might try and find something similar which matches the colour of the console.
We have had ours for about 6 months now. Working for VM I have had pretty much every box we have had out over the years on the staff account. The menu can be a bit slow but it is nowhere near as bad as the old SA boxes.
I hate how we have bundled the basic remote with it. It would be...
You wont lose your no claims bonus as this is a no fault accident.
A similar thing happened to me last year. A young girl ran in to the back of my car. She was driving an old 206 on her dads insurance. Not caused much damage but knocked some paint off and caused a dent in the bumper. I...
Best case scenario the garage will put on 2x LingLong's or WanLi tyres as a good will gesture.
Worst case they will explain that tyre wear is not covered under the standard three month warranty.
Personally I would just put two new tyres on as at least you will get to choose what you get.
I have often wonded this myself. Not from the rep mobiles with big engines as I can understand that.
But I see so many people looking uncomfortable in performance cars trundling along at well below the speed limit. Being banged around by rock hard sports suspension. Having little luxury...
Honda Accord Estate 2.2 CDTI
Lexus IS200 Estate
Focus / Mazda 3
Mondeo / Mazda 6
All have plenty of room in the back. Depends what running costs you are prepared to accept. Loads of choice but the VRS is a very good suggestion.
I have had a Megane II 1.9 DCi 120 3 door for the past four years as my car. If you buy a megane diesel make sure you get the 1.9 as this has Nissans F9Q engine.
Avoid the 1.5 dci as this engine is made by Renault and is not so great.
Meg's are soft on suspension and are pretty wide for a...
