I'd just solder them personally, although this does need care because the heat can easily melt back some of the insulation.
Alternatively buy a male and female RCA connector and solder or crimp one on each end to then be able to just plug them together.
Yeah that's also worth checking out.
I'm with o2 and actually get free roaming in the USA. Only thing is, it's limited to 0.5Mbit which is why I got the eSIM. I'm sure not all providers are that crap though, and no doubt if I didn't have 'free' roaming and had to pay extra for it, it wouldn't...
Well that's the problem. A few of the apps that would normally work are actually being blocked deliberately like YouTube and maybe Spotify so a web browser is the only option:

There are laptops with magnetic charge connectors. The more recent MacBooks have these (again, after Apple stopped for a few years) and I know Surface laptops have them too.
There may well be others, but I’d definitely be trying to find something with a magnetic port.
You can also get magnetic...
That's pretty harsh. I have seen cars parked up in the inspection area with bumpers removed before now so it could've been worse.
Does make me wonder what their criteria is though. For years I used to go over regularly, like at least once a month and I never had any problems except for one...
Really enjoying mine so far. It does feel a bit of a waste in that I don't think I really do anything to push it, but it's a joy to use and I'm really liking the 14" screen. Coming from a 13" MacBook Air I didn't expect to really notice much when it came to the screen size, but I do.
Also...
I’ve got to figure out Heathrow airport parking myself for a week in February. Amazing how much they rip you off. My sister lives in Staines so with any luck I can park up at her house then just get a taxi to the airport, but need to figure out a backup plan.
I went for the space black, mainly because I have a space grey M1 MacBook Air too (that my wife will now be getting) so fancied a bit of a change. I quite like the colour :) Lighting in this room is a bit dim, but here's space black vs space grey:
Have to say that even that base spec M1...
Anyone else got theirs yet? Got my 14" M3 Pro in space black yesterday but haven't really had a chance to do much with it just yet. Initial impressions are good though.
It is a bit of a shame that Apple gimped the M3 Pro so that it's not really any faster than the M2 Pro in CPU tasks (or GPU...
Absolutely right. But if it's a tossup between what's probably £700+ from Apple or £279 for a more ghetto alternative, I'd be carefully considering my options as it's not so clear cut. It could work out better to just buy a brand new one and then sell the broken one on Ebay - as someone might...
Damn, breaking a 5 month old laptop has gotta hurt. It isn't going to be cheap with Apple. I found a place in London charging £509 for it but then I found another place in Bournemouth charging £279 which isn't too horrific I suppose.
Don't notice any degradation at all - it all runs great and there's no noticeable performance difference. Even more graphics heavy web-based stuff like Google Maps is still crazy fast and definitely quicker than the 2019 Intel iMac 27" that I'm typing on right now.
Hopefully this helps. I have a 13" Air and I have the display set to "More Space" which is apparently equivalent to a 1680x1050 desktop and it looks like this:
This is how I've been using my Air for years now and I like it, it's a good amount of usable space on a 13" screen.
When it's on...
All PS3s should play PS1 games with no messing around. It's only PS2 compatibility that was a bit weird (early 60GB consoles had the PS2 chips in, later ones did part emulation and then it was removed entirely). It's the easiest way to go for PS1 games, especially if you already have one as...
Nah just in contract for a while still. Plus kind of need VM for TV (kids etc).
Toob router is a bit crap by the way so hopefully you’ve got something better to use in place of it.
Well I changed my mind and upped my order a bit from the 11C/14G/512GB M3 Pro 14" to the 12C/18G/1TB M3 Pro 14" instead. Figured an extra £400 was no big deal since this is gonna be the one I keep for quite some time :)
Surprisingly enough I've already had a dispatch confirmation too (not...
Done the same. Ordered the base 14" M3 Pro with 18GB RAM and 512GB SSD in space black. Will be great for my use case. As I said in a previous post arguably my base model M1 MacBook Air is coping with everything I want very well indeed, but I've justified it to myself with a slightly bigger...
