Do you have any GPU installed currently? At an absolute flier I would think something like a second hand RX 6600 may be a good match.

I have a 5700g in one rig, and was using it without a dGPU for a while for retro gaming, for which it was great. I would pick up an equivalent AM5 chip (the 8700G for sure) if AsRock release an STX 12v compatible Deskmini (like they had with the X300 for the 5700G).

Thank you!!! Wow, so close to the 4090 at those power levels. Sounds like it starts to suffer sub 250w, but there is a sweet spot that is just a few % from the 4090.

You can undervolt and then power limit the card, and still achieve high performance compared to prior gen. Derbauer demonstrated that in a video already.
