Iv found the car has a media port in the center console that connects an iphone to the radio and also charges it. Seems you can buy a cable that plugs into it that goes to a USB socket instead of the iphone connector. Think i'll buy one of those to see if I can power the sat nav from there in...
Iv recently bought an 09 Golf 1.4 Tsi. The other day I went to plug my satnav charger into the 12v cigarette lighter socket only to find that it doesn't fit. The socket seems to be very shallow, so much so that the side sprung negative contacts on the plug don't even go in. There is also a 12v...
Trying to decided between these two models. Can anyone advice which is the better of the two?
Maybe there are other better alternatives out there at this size and price range? Looking at LCD only as the TV will be situated near a large set of patio doors.
We ordered a dinning room table from them that arrived damaged. Sent it back and they took a month to refund the money. This was after I spent hours on the phone on hold trying to get through to customer service. So im not overly impressed.
Think I'll go for a new 60D with the kit lens to start then, seem to be able to get that for around the £700 mark if you look about. Bit more then I was planning to spend but looks to be worth the extra £100 or so.
Thanks for the advice, much appreciated
So a 60D is considerably better then a 600D?
I see from your earlier post you had a 550D. Considering this will be her 1st dslr after using a lumix bridge camera for the last few years is she likely to use the extra features?
We left a bag out last time one was posted to us and no one turned up to collect it. Had to drop it round a charity shop in town instead so will stick to that in future.
Humm lot of conflicting answers here but thanks for the input. To be honest as its a gift im not that keen on getting a older second hand model.
I'll have a look around for a well priced 60D but if a lens is also required then its going to get too expensive.
Yeh its an old 35mm that hasn't been used for a few years. Think she only has 2 lenses for it though so not a massive loss if they dont fit. 18-55 and an 18-135 I believe. Can't check as its at her parents house and wont be up there for a while.
60D looks like a great camera but is a little...
For drivers you can't beat Wera. I use these at work daily and they dont get any wear on the heads or loose bite on screws.
Drill bit wise I tend to get cheaper ones for home and just replace them when they are blunt, saves messing around sharpening on a grinder like I do at work. Iv a...
Im planning on getting my wife a new dslr for Christmas and looking at the Canon 550D and 600D. She currently uses a 'bridge' camera and has an old canon slr so wanted to stick to the same brand.
What are the main differences between these models? From what I can see the 600D has an...
We have a Duralit toaster and kettle lol
Although the main reason was for the toaster and we just got a kettle to match.
The Duralit toaster we have at work has lasted years and years with some very heavy usage.
