    Twitch streaming on an FX-8350

Depends on the codec and resolution as well as the bitrate you're streaming at. If its a purely streaming based PC with the load being handled by another pc it should be fine if its around 720p maybe 1080p.

Is this even worth messing with?

That would be very awesome to do a build in but it would definitely need heavy modding between the different interfaces and the amount of airflow you could get through that tiny thing, if planned well it would surely be an amazing build but not sure you could fit a gpu in there!

    ITX vs ATX cooling/noise/performance?

My cougar QBX with a couple of noctua reduxes is very quiet under load compared to my dad's big E-ATX full tower. in my opinion, it all depends on how your airflow is setup and what fans you use, if you're striving for quietness don't go look past noctuas or artic p14s for sure.

    Office Chair vs. Gaming Chair

Bought a vertagear sl2000 from occur a couple years back, it did fall apart over time and get less comfy but thanks to OCUK I got some spare parts sent out to get it fixed up. But, a friend with an office chair (Herman Miller Aeron) said that their chair of similar lifespan was a lot more robust...

    Selling GPU to CEX

From experience they do not need the box for the Graphics card but it would be best to sell it with as many of the original accessories as possible :) Though CEX may be hassle free, In my opinion, you would be better off selling on FBM so you're not forcing another person to pay the scalped CEX...

Does my motherboard support 5000? MSI Gaming Pro Carbon

If you don't have a spare CPU or any bios flash utility be sure to pick up a start up CPU from AMD support and you'll be able to post and flash the bios using that :)

Will DDR5 be viable at launch?

Ahh may be, thanks for the correction!

what is the equivalent to modmic

I'd be weary of using something like a modmic in the first place, their convenience may be good but they have durability issues and so you'd end up spending more in the long run. The best solution I'd say is just to get a stand-alone microphone like a neweer nw800 kit from amazon or a blue...

    Is buying 128GB RAM overkill?

Most people nowadays say 16gb is the standard, but I have a couple of friends who say that your PC will use more RAM if it's available. And so they recommend using 32GB if possible, also if your motherboard and CPU both support quad channel then it would be best to take advantage of it for...

2600x to 3600 - is it worth it?

Yeah, as said further up the jump between the two is significant but is not worth its cost. A good upgrade would be to the 5600x, but then again if your motherboard doesn't support it, it may be better to wait for your platform to become aged and obsolete to the point of it being unusable and...

Will DDR5 be viable at launch?

From what I've read the next generation of AMD chips will not be supporting DDR5, though the intel platforms should. Just like X99 supported ddr4 at launch.

Could GPU overclock have blown PSU?

Make sure to take at a list of recommended power supplies and to go for known brands, efficiency rating doesn't really tell the full story about whether a PSU is good quality or not, I've had some friends go with an EVGA power supply, bronze rated, and it blew after a couple months of usage...

New PC build. Now or hold on for DDR5

if you need a PC right now, I don't think you would regret getting a computer now: since people are still using end of life ddr3 systems it will still be somewhat relevant later. But if you are able to wait, the performance difference in the next generation chips as well as the reported speeds...

    Water cooled build need help.

You've deleted the post, but from the title if you need help with water-cooling there are tonnes of guides by jayztwocentz and the like that I would most definitely recommend going through these

    5800x vs 3700x worth the extra £60?

if you already have a 3700x then selling to upgrade might not be worth. But, if you're doing a direct comparison: 5600x itself outperfoms a 3700x in cinebench multicore workloads and the like, but if you need the extra cores the 5800x is definitely worth the difference in price.

SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless - thoughts

I used to run the arctis pro wireless, they're great just for all around use but the flappy headband thing did wear quickly and got annoying, and the DAC/OLED screen box did break for me after a year of use. I did end up managing to fix it but be aware of this. In my opinion the microphone on it...

NVME heat issue: under a 3090 okay?

Considering how much heat the top of a 3090 can produce i'd try and put the ssd in a different socket though try stress testing with a benchmark to see worst case scenarios

    GPU AIO pump control

Ah unfortunate then, maybe you might be able to short the pump if you wanna risk it and force it to run at 100%. Maybe search around and see if there's a bios that does the same thing? Yeah a faster pump will make it run cooler but at the cost of sound.

Does RAM speed make that much difference?

It's looking like a massive jump in performance too, definitely a good decision but it's seeming like a year or two before that happens

    £450 to upgrade

Was thinking they'd be running b350 or the z equivalent, though if it's b450 then yeah with a bios upgrade they might be able to run 5000 series, can confirm you do loose the first gen support which is why amd stopped giving 1st and 2nd gen cpus in their startup kits
