I was recently told that when you burn a cd to a disc windows embeds hash id and keeps a record of the files that you have burnt to a cd in it's registry.
Is this true?
If so this would allow cd's to be traced back to the computers they were burnt from?
I had no end of trouble with this board
In fact I don't think DFI are what they used to be - too many problems even if they are great overclockers when you get them setup right.
For Core 2 Duo you are better buying a decent board from ASUS or Abit and saving money buying a cheaper Core 2 Duo...
Just bought one of these - was going to go for the XFX xtreme but they sold out when I arrived.
Just aswell - this thing flies!
So far it runs happily at
725/920
and scores over 12,000 in 3dMark 2005
Really pleased with this card :)
I have heard the Gigabyte GA-965 DS3 is sensitive to memory but works well with the Team DDR stuff.

I'm gonna get one of the Gigabyte motherboards listed on OCuK.
Gigabyte GA_965P_DS3 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
Gigabyte GA_965P_DS4 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
Gigabyte GA_965P_DQ6 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

No jaggies and the lighting is just superb on the walls etc.
On a normal tv it probably would look bad. On the PC it looks flat by...
I've tried it on my PC for comparison - using a 7900GT Xtreme edition XFX I bought last week from OCuK.
Got to say the graphics don't seem anywhere near like the 360 - maybe it's the step down to 19inches? The bump mapping and textures on the walls seem dead compared to the 360 in HD...
i'm playing it on the 360 (looks great in HD and 42inches)
The only thing is everytime you go in or out of a house or inn etc it has to load the level up
bloody annoying in towns
is it the same on the PC?
I read that direct x7, 8 and 9 are being dropped for Vista and that the new operating system is only going to support direct X10
