Boris Johnson is Mayor of London

Care to back up this correlation with any facts, figures or research? Nor me, but then, I wouldn't wanna be in any other capital during rush hour, London deals with its "sardine" problem very well, especially when compared to other public transport systems.

Why do we pay our taxes?

Id be annoyed that I had been told a unit had been dispatched immediately, and that I had acted with that information in mind, which happened to be a load of cobblers. I would definitely kick up a fuss about it if this is the case.

    RX-7, 300ZX or Toyota Supra?

If I could afford it, I would go RX7, but you would need the price of the car itself in reserve for work which would eventually need to be done to it.

    Baby Fight Club

I'd rather my kid learnt to fight than play some nancy sport like soccer, at least it would be useful, along with teaching it to not use it unless he has to mind, discipline and what not.

    New Car Time

A diesel convertible, so your spending extra money on a retractable roof, but your having the point of said roof ruined some what by a terrible engine. You may need to think this through, for I fear you may be making a similar mistake to that which you did with the 350Z

Fiat Coupe 20v Turbo, bargain or money pit?

The issue here is whether or not the things that need "maintaining" are problems or things that would fall under general car maintenance. To me, an exhaust manifold that goes every 50k unless you can get your hands on a revised one, is not general maintenance, neither are turbo's that go some...

I need a quick reminder that I can’t afford to run this please.

Would you really though, especially at 21. I mean, your average Aston Martin owner is guna be 35+ (at a guess), id feel pretty damn chuffed being in the same marque as them at such an early age tbh, I know I do as a student driving what to most is probably a complete girls car.

How much would you need to be earning...

But then, your trying to pay off that mortgage at a rate of 18k a year , I would only be trying to do that if the mortgage I had gotten was terrible.

I need a quick reminder that I can’t afford to run this please.

That saying was designed for people so rich, that money was literally no object to them anymore, so they didn't need to ask how much anything was.

Fiat Coupe 20v Turbo, bargain or money pit?

The Coupe is a great car, and it is far from reliable. However, the owners club has a decent and very accurate list of what will go wrong and when, how to prevent/fix it and costs involved. The most important advice I could give would be to follow this list, and do not presume your car will not...

How much would you need to be earning...

Whilst that is a hell of allot to be spending on a mortgage, this adds up about right.

So how high will petrol go?

Whilst taking into account some of that is personal opinion and speculation, theres a lot of cold hard economic sense in this post, well done.
