I'm basically clueless about this stuff, but 60hz with vsync = 60 fps, no? So going above that is going add stress to the GPU, isn't it? 144 with v-sync is what? 144fps? Idk.. that's why I'm asking.

My graphics card is only a 1660ti and I currently have a 60hz screen. I was wondering if upgrading to a 144hz screen would put any extra stress on my graphics card? (assuming same resolution etc).

An old-ish game I play requires CPU affinity to be limited to 2 CPU's (1st and 3rd), and the only way I know to set this is by doing it through task manager every single time I launch the game. Is there a more permanent solution so I don't need to do it each time I play the game?

Copy/pasted it from shortcut properties and added the double backslash, as instructed.

Using singe backslashes didn't work either. For the record my two folders aren't on my desktop, they're in Program Files > MyFolder > Folder A/B
