Been using Endeavour OS for quite a while but it got borked from an update. I'll recover it some time but decided to give a few other distros a try. Ended up with Manjaro (KDE Plasma) which seems to have had a bit of criticism on line lately but I've found it fabulous.

Yes, any case will be fine with a ATX PSU and the power adapter.
I had to make the cable hacks described in post #171 to avoid the boot errors but all works fine now.
I put mine into a Corsair ATX case with a Dell H310 and I now have 4 x 2.5" and 4 x 3.5" drives installed.

Debian - Did you use the netinst iso for installation? It installs a fully functional desktop without a lot of the bloat. Any bloat that does remain is a part of the DE, not the OS. Apt is great for adding/removing anything you like or don't.
