I was aiming for a 3060 Ti as I only play at 1080p@144hz currently. Just something that was a bump for a GTX 970. Managed to snag one of the 3070 Ti FE this morning. Bit overkill for my needs, but it's not like there's much stock around to be picky.

It is possible to get 1440p@120hz on the 27GL850 with the Xbox Series X, but you need to disable Adaptive Sync on the monitor. You can't have both 1440p@120hz AND VRR, sadly. The LG seems to have VRR on HDMI capped at 100hz. This Dell seems to be one of the only screens that can do both 120hz...

I've just had BT Ultrafast Fibre installed today, upgrading from BT Infinity. My old speeds were 70 down, 20 up. With this new setup, which just required a new master socket and HomeHub, is now 250 down, 40 up (although this is due to increase to nearly 260 once it's settled down). Very happy!

SanDisk Class 10 (80mbps) IIRC I didn't test it extensively as I didn't even get close to filling built-in storage.

I found it was good enough to documents, photos and other bits, but slower than a SATA HDD for games (not unusable though!).

I had the SB1 with 256gb and found that more than adequate. I ended up getting one of these to put a MicroSD card in for a little extra boost while keeping it flush with the chassis.

My Alienware 15 R3 (GTX 1070) with 120hz G-Sync works with my Dell 144hz G-Sync.

I held out purchasing my Alienware 15 R3 just so I could get one with a 120hz display. I've had 144hz on my desktop for a year and wouldn't go back to 60hz again. It makes my eyes hurt.

The Alienware keyboard surround has the same rubberised plastic feel. I don't mind it.
