How close do you sit with the 34"? At my desk am only about 60cm away from the monitor and thinking this might be a step too far. May get to the point where I have to turn my head to see the edge of the screen.

Sit about half that to my monitor so the 29" should be a perfect upgrade from my current 23"

Was runnning almost 10 year old juicy 3's so thought it was about time for an upgrade. Hope your new caliper does the trick. Considered that but don't like spending money at the best of times and only do some light xc for which the xt's seemed a bit overkill.

I don't use my pc for watching films (my tv is about a foot to the left) but think there's still a benefit for gaming with the extra width. On games that support it.. How far away are you sat from your monitor?
