Not with a 7950GX2, to properly support it we had to upgrade to 11xx.

Hmm... how are people getting on with 1302... think I'm going to give it a go cos the 11xx version seems to be very unstable.

The patch seems to have tweaked the engines performance too, a number of our clan on lower spec machines reckon the game runs a lot smoother post 1.41 as well. Shame we don't have any before and after fps to prove this. Does seem to have done something to 'smooth' out the running of the game...

After playing BF2 for a while I seem to get graphical glitches, not artifacts, just polygons where there shouldn't be. To cure it, I usually have to drop back to the server browser by hitting Esc, then hit Esc again to return. I think it might be driver related (91.31 WHQL'd) installed...

I've got a XFX XXX 7950 & 20" TFT @ 1600x1200 - was a big improvement over the 7800GTX512 I had in the system for that res. Lovin' it :D

Some of the main guns can be switched between rapid & single shot mode by pressing 3.

Funny you say that about the maps - been playing the PC version since July last year, and recently got the 360 and d/l'd the demo of BF2:MC.. the map design does seem so much better, my wife will divorce me if I get BF2 on Xbox too thou ;) :D

Finally unlocked this weapon when I got my First Sergeant the other day, G36E is very good - makes playing medic much better :D

We're replacing SF with AF/EF on thursdays - just not enough interest in. Still occasionally run it though, if our clan wants to play it.

Well, I had the same decision to make, and went for the GX2. Not sure if it's 'better' than 2 7800 512s - but certainly a lot better than one!

I've bought the following UEE / XXX versions over the last year, and each time when I've got to a point of considering SLI a couple of months later, the cards are no where to be seen... 7800GTX 256 UEE 7800GTX 512 XXX 7950 GX2 XXX Just noticed the 7950 is no longer stocked by OCuk... but...

yeah, Chrome Hounds looks interesting too :) Not sure what to get next (bar an Xbox live voucher as mine has expired!) :confused:
