I'd expect the Intel to out-render the 965 on most benchmarks.

100% agree (was attempting to keep to within 10% of the OP's budget). GPU could be better too. 4890 would add about £40 or a 5850 about £90. Case would/could be a very tight fit with one of those however.

The 850 would be my recommendation too. Rarely a bad thing to have a little room to manoeuvre when it comes to the PSU.
