I know it's a bad idea what I'm doing but my reason for doing it is I've only just gotten my bike which is over 33bhp and I'm 21 in august and will have an unrestricted license then so I thought I will just wait...
The main things to master are lifesaver checks and slow speed riding, U-turn especially. If you can get good at riding your bike slowly and remember all your lifesavers I think the test is pretty easy.
I started on a CG125 then a DRZ400SM and onto a 2007 ZX6R Ninja within 6 months. The only training I had was the CBT and I just taught myself after that and passed first time.
But I think most people could manage a 600cc sportsbike as your first bike aslong as you take it easy. My ZX6R is...
Not the best picture but it's absolutely pouring down with rain here. Just got it last night for £4350, it's a 2007 ZX-6R with 3050 miles on the clock and it is mint, I'm really happy with it.
Turns out it was the wrong reg lol. I done the check and its come up all clear. I thought it was really cheap too so if it looks as good as it sounds hopefully I will have a new bike tonight :D
Yeah it's a private sale. The bike has only done 3000 miles apparantly and he is asking £4500 ono. But why would it be showing an MPV on the reg check?
I'm going to look at a 2007 ZX6R tonight and I have the registration number to do an HPI check. But when I tried typing the registration into 2 different websites they both say it is a Mazda 5 Sport (MPV). Why is it doing this? Should I walk away?
I done my CBT then bought a CG125 and taught myself. I passed first time then sold the CG125 for the same price I bought it for so the whole thing was pretty cheap to get done.
Supermotos crash way better than a sports bike and with all the suspension travel they are easier to slide around and more forgiving than a sports bike.
