I've had them on my last few cars, and simply find them irreplacable. That said, I don't have any 3d depth perception, so I find judging distances a bit harder than most.

When you're boxing stuff up, write the room you want it putting in on the box. That way, it goes straight to where you want it unpacking. Also, number the boxes, and keep a list of what's in each one. Get a reliable moving company in, takes most of the humping and grunting out of it.
