as soon as I clear the CMOS, that error goes and it starts to turn itself off as it struggles to post... so I've only got it twice (on each motherboard). It could be the CPU, i've got no way of testing but it looks fine.

I've got two chips, so I've just used one... and swapped them around... so unless they are both dead i don't think its that.

OK, i know this is probably not recommended... but if i replace my motherboard (kaput) with the same model, what are the chances of it working? Anything to look out for? I realise it would probably be best to do a clean install, but I've no idea where my XP disc or what the serial numbers...

i thought there was a possibility it might be this... afraid i dont have anything to test it with though.

put in another GFX card and got the "no VGA card connected" voice POST, the GFX definetely works as im using it right now. Any reason why it shouldn't have worked? Motherboard to blame?

you wouldn't need a mixer, everything would be done on the PC... it is useful to have a soundcard that can output more than 2 channels so you can have a headphones mix as well as a speaker mix. Once you get really into it you could buy external controllers to manipulate the program with...

I fail to understand how anyone can not like onions, maybe raw onions sure.. but otherwise... what are you doing to them? Most sauces will have them in, but its not as if its a identifiable flavor on its own... it just adds a sweetness and bulk to the sauce. I really find it hard to believe you...
