Would you say anything bad about any LG monitor? ;) are there reports of backlight bleeds? How’s it look with the one you have?
I hope it’s significantly better than the 38UC99... :)
I knew about the Dell (as a workhorse) but I fancy treating myself for my home-office. Ill read up on the viewsonic and Acer, thank you :)
I hadn't considered a 5k monitor but in a smaller dimension will it look too small sitting from about 50cm away?
I’m seriously thinking about this monitor - I’d like a 21:9 ultrawide with as much vertical height as I can get (1440p minimum). A triple monitor is out of the question and while I do play the odd game (I’m hoping I can live with the 60hz), I need desktop real estate to maximise productivity...
It is a somewhat of a luxury item but as I'm spending more time working from home, I'm giving myself backache working on the sofa. I'm thinking, the chair is most important then for absolute precision adjustment (minus pitch, yaw, and roll :D), this is it :p
Aw, that's well annoying!
The test was run with the side panel off btw. Its also a new build with as much of the wiring running at the back of the motherboard as possible.

Thanks guys.
I'm running the latest bios (F5). I can't run the test at 1080p as it's not supported on this monitor (researching 27" 1440p at the mo to replace this one).

I think so but I don't think I'm going to complain too much.. Its still a 290X Tri-X card and £20 cheaper than the OC variant. Main thing is that it's stable too whichis a relief given the number of complaints I've seen about it too. They should update their stock title on the product page but...
