The MTEC shift springs have made a bigger difference to the shift feel, the insert has just made things a little less loose. Second gear when cold is still much the same sadly.

Yes it's currently my only car. It's an insert that goes in a void in the existing mount so nowhere near as harsh as replacing the mount altogether. I cant hear it at all past about 20mph, the GT86 doesn't have the quietest of cabins though...

So reviews are starting to come in for RTX/Max-q models - the 2070 max q seems to be ~15% faster than the 1070 max q and about on par with a desktop 1070. Not quite what I was hoping for but still interested.

TDP's are pretty much the same as the current cards so the models that seem to have just updated the GPU like the Razer Blade and Aero 15x will probably have exactly the same noise levels.

In the first leaked benchmarks the 2070 MaxQ is a chunk faster than a desktop 1080 but I'm waiting for some more legitimate numbers. TDP is the same as the 1070 Max-Q

Might be worth trying Hayward and Scott, they seem to be well regarded and have done some impressive custom systems for a few guys in the drivers club. Have you considered just replacing the mid pipe for one with a bigger resonator?
