Got it from a reseller - had a little discount. They are a competitor so can't link. Took a week and a bit & arrived fine :)

    How old is your smartphone?

I just can't give up on my Pixel 5. The battery is a tad pants now, but I love everything else on it.

Which old game back in the day had the most hype but was the biggest flop?

If there's 1 generation of gaming you could play forever, which one would it be?

Tempted to say 4th (or is it 3rd?) for my Mastersystem. My first console I owner rather than shared. Operation wolf, Sonic, Alex Kid, Wonder Boy etc. The nostalgia is strong, but most games havn't fared too well. But gotta be 5th. PS1 was everything. I traded my SNES and oodles of games for...

    Recommend me: a vegetarian cookbook

Also I'm with you on the meat replacement stuff - I'm really not into it. Not only does it not always agree with me physically, in terms of sustainability and ethics I think it's massively questionable. Usually terrible for you too. But a sensitive subject I accept :)

    Recommend me: a vegetarian cookbook

100% East by Meera Sodha as above. Amazing book and not too tricky. Ottolenghi is the step up in terms of complexity - I like "Plenty". Shout out to Hugh Fernely-whittingstall too - Veg everyday is good (although less helpful for me now as my other half doesn't eat dairy, and this book uses it...

Complete budget build for teenager - but allowing for some future expansion

Cheers for the reply - do you mean the wattage, or quality of the actual PSU? Or both? I'm not very au fait at all anymore with PSUs. Something like this? https://www.overclockers.co.uk/super-flower-golden-green-hx-650w-80-plus-gold-power-supply-black-ca-004-sf.html Yeah I had tagged the BIOS...

Complete budget build for teenager - but allowing for some future expansion

Nephew wants a "gaming" PC for Xmas, I've managed to steer the parents away from a £360 gaming laptop, or even worse £290 desktop with monitor / etc brand new (not even sure how they can put them out at that price?). Suspect the usual games will be wanted to be played (minecraft / roblox / etc)...

    Season pan salvageable?

Never any need to bin these pans - they can be "reset" very easily. Either in a pyrolytic oven, or use one of those heavy duty oven cleaners with the bags. Silly Q - but did you definitely get all the wax off when it was new? It comes with a thin covering, but have heard people having real...
