Hi all. Just installed a new Radeon 6850 (upgrading from an 8800GT \o/ ) and am having some issues with tearing in video when selecting the 'duplicate' monitor option in CCC.
The PC screen is 1080p and connected via the DVI and then I have an HDTV connected via HDMI also 1080p.
The main...
Hi. I'm doing a new build for a relative that will be running Windows 7.
Their old XP PC has a Soundblaster Live 24bit card installed and I'm wondering if it'll still be better to use that in the new build rather than use the onboard Realtek HD ALC889.
I believe there is no longer hardware...
As this is the second time I've had to suffer these scammers then I'm inclined to agree. My blood was starting to boil, especially as we could have exchanged details in minutes instead of the hours it took.
Even worse when I told the Policewoman that he'd been trying to bribe me, she looked...
Hi all, I'll try and keep this as short as possible.
Recently while stationary at a junction my car was rammed from the rear by a foreign driver. The car itself had a Polish reg and was a complete pile of crap which looked like it had been in other accidents and probably wouldn't have passed...
A nice backseat ride with Zane Sennett then!
As they say in Monty Python land... 'You lucky, lucky *******!'
Good news to hear of the Hawk's clearance to fly, I'm sure all the pilots just want to get back to displaying again!
Best wishes to all of the team!
Red 4 went down after breaking from the formation to land.
Basically they pull off from the formation left and right as they fly along the runway and do a turn back to fly downwind then eventually turning again to land individually either side of the centre line of the runway.
I believe they...
The didn't put on any kind of 'agreed' mini display at all, that is rubbish.
They did a flat run in and break over the airfield the same as they do at other airfields they visit. There was nothing unusual about it.
No-one can say for certain. The accident investigators will determine the cause in time.
Always love seeing the Reds perform, and this is such a tragic loss. RIP Red 4 :(
Had this myself the past week. Luckily was ok for Xmas, but it got progressively worse and I spent NYE ill in bed.
Wish I could emigrate to somewhere like NZ where Chrimbo and New year's eve are in the summertime. Must be much better.
ITV HD is generally better than BBC HD, but they reverted to an SD feed after the HD **** up.
They tried going back to HD a couple of times in the first half, but the second half was all upscaled SD.
The only thing different in the systray is that I'm using the Lanlights app instead of the rubbish Win7 network icon.
TBH, I've flipped through the built in Win7 themes to see if there were any differences, but sadly unless I select the 'classic' theme the date stays. :(
I did that, but it's just gone back to the default date as the screenshot below shows.
Here's a piccy of the systray.
As you can see it's the thin taskbar, but the date is still there. Grrrrrrrrr!
Hi, yes I'm using small icons.
I've got the taskbar looking like the Vista one, but for some reason the date is still underneath the time and I can't get rid of it.
