Is it common to have coil whine while idle? Everywhere I've read, ppl suggest it comes after intense gameplay, but mine seems to start 10/15 minutes after the PC boots.

Update: reflashing the bios with @BIOS did the trick. Was already on latest version (F16) but just ran it over the top and no more double post. Cheers guys...

Have you flashed the Bios at any point? How old is the motherboard, maybe swap out the cmos battery for a new one?

CPU cable from the Pump Unit into the CPU fan header on mobo. And then both fans into the dual fan connectors. I can control the fan speed/performance etc from the Corsair Link Software. Just get no reading for the CPU RPM speed. I've had to disable the fan cpu warning tone in bios....
