    NVIDIA 4000 Series

Not too much worry about that if it's still using a Zen 2 CPU as rumoured. It will be quite CPU bottlenecked.

Alphacool Apex Stealth - The new go to fan

See what other reviewers say. But yeah it does seem like they aren't as good as claimed. There's still the Airjet coolers which will probably be scaled up and mostly take over from needing regular fans.

Intel Core Ultra 'Arrow Lake' Discussion/News ("15th gen") on LGA-1851

Eh? I'm not Dave if that's what you are trying to say

Intel Core Ultra 'Arrow Lake' Discussion/News ("15th gen") on LGA-1851

Not sure where that comes from as I've mostly seen 2024 mentioned when it comes to articles on Arrow Lake, not 25.

    13700KF to 7800X3D

Probably not worth it unless you want the upgrade path to Zen 5 and possibly Zen 6. Also how good of an uplift will Zen 5 be? The mid range won't have e-cores like Intel does, which means less multicore performance. It will get closer with less cores though obviously, it would have to be a...

Black Friday/cyber Monday - what would count as worth buying?

I was gonna go with an AM5 board but all the ones I've looked at I see people complaining with some kind of issue, either with Intel LAN, buzzing noises from the board with ASUS boards or bios/ram issues. I still have my z690 board and other bits in a box and I sold the main parts of the stuff...

    NVIDIA 4000 Series

Is that true though? I saw DF's video on Alan Wake 2 where a 3080 was running 2x the framerate of the PS5 at the same/similar settings.

    14th Gen "Raptor Lake Refresh"

Dud series but not really unexpected. Waste of time for those already on 13th gen. Roll on Arrow Lake.

Alphacool Apex Stealth - The new go to fan

I think people are gonna complain about test results no matter who tests stuff. I saw one or 2 reviews talking about pump noise on the Arctic coolers making it not as quiet as a good air cooler. So while measurable noise results may make it look a bit better it might not be. Shouldn't be...

Alphacool Apex Stealth - The new go to fan

Well we will see. 2-3 of these for intake and exhaust should be pretty interesting, might wait for the 140 versions if they turn out so good.

Alphacool Apex Stealth - The new go to fan

They reviewed the Alphacool Eisbaer 240LT and I'm pretty sure there were a few who said the results were BS because they were so good, so if they make a review that contradicts the rest then where do we stand?

Alphacool Apex Stealth - The new go to fan

Same noise as a Noctua fan at 400rpm but the Alphacool fan is at 1900rpm?? If that's accurate that would be a lot of airflow for such low noise, isn't that whisper quiet for such high speed? Is the 2000rpm fan the same as the 3000? Looks like it is

    14th Gen "Raptor Lake Refresh"

Arrow Lake refresh is old news at least by rumour. If that's true it's not really exciting except for the extra multicore performance. Yeah, Alder Lake was a pretty big uplift. Arrow Lake might be decent then.. But are we getting 1 upgrade > the Arrow Lake refresh? Or more on the same motherboard?

    14th Gen "Raptor Lake Refresh"

They don't have much to worry about, AMD was in a worse position with Zen 1 with performance and all the RAM issues AFAIK. They still made a comeback. Anyone saying Intel is gonna be far behind or irrelevant is spouting hyperbolic nonsense similar to MLID IMO.

    14th Gen "Raptor Lake Refresh"

Yep. Hopefully Arrow Lake is a decent uplift, and at least another good uplift after that on the same new platform, would give it better longevity vs buying into AM5 most likely. Sure I read rumours of an Arrow Lake refresh a little while back, but hopefully whatever chips come afterwards are...

    Starfield CPU performance reviews

Even the 8700k is giving a spanking to many of the chips there. I knew it was at least similar if not better than Zen 2 in games but didn't expect it to do quite as well as that today.

    AMD Zen 5 rumours

I've seen quite a few times people buying the most amount of cores and usually let at least half of them sit idle because they're just gaming or only making full use of them now and again, what you said makes the most sense. Nothing? Probably, unless you mean games light on the hardware.

Do current CPUs bottleneck the 4090?

Thought I heard somewhere that surprisingly they actually do, I doubt it's by that much though.
