But if you can install it to a different hard drive leaving the original installation intact them why can you not dual boot? The only problem I could foresee is whether Microsoft deactivates your original licence.

That's my point I did a clean install on a new partition with the £25 upgrade version, therefore it has not upgraded anything. If you can install it onto a new partition or drive then in theory there is not reason you can't dual boot.

I had the same problem, but i noticed under access point it was set to o2-uk prepay but im on a business account. I just changed it to O2-uk and rebooted the phone and then it worked. Good luck!
