Wait till u get to 60 and realise whatever path u take pve or pvp u have to devote a lot of time to the game which wont ever stop for you. get zero hour and patch it to 1.4, should be fine then. Generals isnt a bad rts with some merits and some bad points but its quite fun over lan after you've played ra and ra2 to death for a few years.

civ2 was absolutely brilliant, civ3 was ok not bad. Civ4 is terrible, its a user friendly version of civ with a load of complete rubbish added.

level 11 and you're having problems lol, quit now. Level 1-15 are handed to you on a plate, the game doesnt get interesting until after level 40 when you get your mount up until then its meaningless, and then 40-59 is almost as meaningless 60 is where most of the game is at the rest is just...

dont roll a shaman, not really wanted in large quantities end game, roll a priest or a mage, these generally will do you in good stead in getting groups, oh a druid is a fine choice also.
