If you are happy with the monthly payment and contract then I would go with the G3 as you won't get a G4 at anything like that price. The G3 is a really good phone.

I've noticed the battery drain as well. Hope it is just a temp issue and sorts itself out. I have drained the battery and Will leave it on charge over night and see how it goes tomorrow.

I'm not keen on them either. Shame they have taken away the option to select different styles of hotkeys. Does seem to have made the phone more responsive though.

Customer service is crap but then again, so is Orange. My advice, find the cheapest one month deal that gives you what you want and try it. I'm on Virgin Mobile unlimited everything for £18

Just got notification that update is available. Lollipop update is here. Will need to wait till I get home to updated. Work's Wi-Fi isn't great. Anyone else got it updated yet?

Was asking as I had noticed that if I used my phone when it was on a surface the touchscreen would randomly not recognise I was touching it. Doesn't happen if I hold it

Have you tried the Sony Pc Companion software? I have a similar free phone but only got the update via Pc companion.

This may sound like a strange question but are you holding the phone when it's acting like that or is it on a surface?

I haven't come across any problems at all so far. Phone seems to be just as quick as before. Battery drain seems slightly reduced. So far so good.

I got the update via PC Companion today - it's the latest one released on 10/04 so hopefully it fixes some of the reported issues with the original 4.4 update.

Mine is sim free but no update either OTA or via sony software. Just need to be patient I suppose :-) Don't really want to start messing about with manual updates. Not that I really need the update to fix anything as such as love this phone.

I see Sony have released their 4.4 update, just wondering if anyone with a UK model has got it yet? If so, are you Simfree or Network handset? Seems Sony have put a lot of other updates and improvements in this release. Cheers

If you have any services with Virgin Media then check out their existing customer only deals as they have some great sim only offers and use orange /tmobile

You could have a look at the LG LM615, it's the exact same as the TV I just bought LG LM620 but without the smart functions. I'm well pleased with the set and have no complaints.

I'm sure you will be pleasantly surprised at how good a fit it is and looks great on the phone. Hasn't made any difference to my wifi/mobile signal either.
