    BF2: [OcUK] vs =50K= MKII

Flashbang range was downgraded in a patch so I dont see why not. Attacking anything but fixed commander assets over the red circle isnt allowed by 50K rules, I was kicked for attacking a heli that had fired on us because he had retreated to the red circle. If your fired upon while...

    New Alloys? What Size?

Dam I just got back from driving with the 15" on and it does feel slower (not that it was ever fast :D) , I hope your doing something to the performance at the same time or its just a cruising car. Plus theirs more sway in the handling, can definetly feel the extra lateral force in action, at...

    New Alloys? What Size?

I just put a set of 15" 205 width on and they are massive, you really dont want more then that. Anything more would need suspension mods probably

Well, at least the Headgasket didn't go..

I reckon at least 20 is possible, probably whatever the equalivant in first is. Almost any average car gets unstable when reversed at speed

    Jack Nicholson.

Just watched Hamburger Hill recently, now thats a unsung classic and better then either of the previous two mentioned. No space for Jack in that one except as some suicide bomber NV maybe :D

    P45

You can apply for a replacement tax code however it will cause you strife which is probably why your old company is taking the pleasure. I had a company do this even though I gave the right amount of notice and the next company to employ me paid my NI contributions to the wrong code for 9 months!

    Trouble on Motorway

Motorways are the safest roads in the UK. Be scared at the next right turn at a T junction with an articulated truck heading for your door if your going to be scared at all then speed doesnt matter just his 10 ton momentum :D If you have your seatbelt on, the door could open and you still...

Well, at least the Headgasket didn't go..

You might get more by scrapping it for parts but I sold mine to a guy using it for a trackday car. He didnt care about the damage because it was getting a full rollcage anyway :)

Well, at least the Headgasket didn't go..

Hrm sounds very much like your Rover was imitating an early Porsche 911 for the last few seconds of its life. Fully comp I hope, glad your all right anyhow.

    Hot Hatches

Mid ninties Primera GT would have about 130bhp/ton and should be quite cheap to buy, they also have one of the best stock suspensions around

    Hot Hatches

Dont know much about turbos but couldnt the boost be set to 0 so that you can still hold the gears and get some economy. If it was a supercharger, you'd could slip the belt off the pulley or something. Having to stop and get out of the car to enable its full performance might restrain you...

    Hot Hatches

Could the sx not be economical off boost. If you want you the best of both worlds then thats what dohc vtec was designed for, so a civic vti or something would do the job - Power to weight: 148.15 bhp/ton

    Buying at auction

Yes I was going to say the market will be different on a bank holiday friday. I brought during the week, lots of traders and just a few punters like myself as far as I could tell (thats a good thing). Working shifts has an advantage :) I dont know about missing documents but a battered wing...

Get the Honda Legend then, with over 100k miles they go for similar money as this and they'll keep on going. Apart from Rovertech, I dont really know of any 220's for sale. See here also...

Oh my god what am I doing - is this right?!

I had something similar with an old Volvo. The mechanic I took it too, took about 5 minutes to fix it. The ground for a lot of simple circuits runs through the car body and as the car ages and rusts those circuits become unreliable. All he did was rub down metal to take off some surface...
