Decided to do an official vEveresting yesterday.
Can only say it is totally brutal.
Decided on the Alpe. First couple of laps were ok. By the time I’d finished the 4th rep it was starting to hurt.
5, 6 and 7 were a total boring painful grind. Was so relieved to finish 8 knowing I had approx...
Hi
Been down to Devon last week for a break and took the bike for a couple of rides. I planned on hitting 8 of the top 100 climbs in Britain.
Went accross Dartmoor and back which was really nice. The climbs up to the moor from Bovey Tracey and Tavistock are really nice longish climbs without...

this was my climb up Ventoux or as Zwift call it, Ven Top!
As always with me I had 2 guys around me. One just ahead and one just behind which always really spurs me on to keep ahead/catch up.
Was toast after but got a nice ftp bump of +10 to...
vEveresting that was touched on earlier.
That’s on my radar for this year.
I did a ‘base camp’ a couple of months ago ( half the elevation)
Picked Epic Kom forward as the Alpe is just too steep for 8.5 reps with my setup. Rode an extra 10Km or so on the flat to make it up to 200Km
Going to...
Did the tour stage 2 long myself the other day. Was a good ride getting in with a bunch closer to the front. After 3 laps though I was pretty tired going up the Kom.

Also did the prl full route around London today. What a long boring ride that was...
I have a Neo and wouldn’t buy anything else. Less to go wrong. Not fussed about the climb ( only comparable with kickr’s) although people who have them think they’re great if the belt doesn’t snap!
Nothing particularly exciting but did the Uber Pretzle yesterday to tick off the route badge. Approx 140km( includes 12km back down) and 2500m climbing. Finished up the Alpe which was always going to be interesting!
I’ve planned the route based on what it says but it may not be 100%. Should be pretty close tho. Also Whinlatter is E to W.
I’ve driven them except Whinlatter and tbh they are stunning so looking forward to this.
sent you an email with rwgps link

Right gents, need some advice if you will.
Looking to get some structured Zwift training in till spring.
50 soon and 84kg with an ftp of 289.
Was initially looking to increase my 1hr ‘power’ but now just signed up to the Keswick mountain festival ride at 72km and 1500m climbing. I’ve done...
