Paedophile gang not dealt with by both the Police and social services.

Does anyone know if any of the "decision makers" (senior Police officers?) could be held accountable for inaction (if any was found) or negligence (duty of care?) A quick google regarding the story found nothing but I found this...

    Pressure Cooking - pro recipes/techniques

Thread revival! I recently got a Kuhn Rikon pressure cooker - amazing. Finally made a decent beef/veal stock (veal feet are sold in supermarkets here in France) - no lingering smells and done in 2 hours. Braised some oxtail in the stock, chilled and made quick stew with a glaze from the stock -...

Guys, i'm planning on doing the honey roast ham recipe from CS (https://www.chefsteps.com/activities/homemade-honey-glazed-ham). However, I haven't got Instacure no 1 - will that matter? I ended up buying some potassium nitrate from Amazon instead but I just realised that instacure no 1 has...

Yup, no rub just seasoned with salt before I put it in (was in a bit of a rush to be honest) - this will work like a brine right?

Anova Precision Cooker - cook sous vide with your iPhone.

Guys earlier this evening I put on 2 small pieces (0.7kg each) of brisket from Tesco in at 68c for a 24 hour cook (roughly following the chef steps recipe - without the brine). I've just read the comments on CS and SE.. considering how thin my pieces are and very little marbling is there...

    Small car for my dad

Really?? I looked up what a 'DPF' is and it looks expensive should it need replacing... but why would servicing be more expensive? Does the turbo add extra complexity?

    Small car for my dad

How so? I've read reviews mentioning it's a bit loud and rattly when you're ragging in but he's not gonna be redlining it at all. Maybe 5"9' - we sat in one today and I didn't find it particularly small and I'm 6"2'! Also should mention he's after really low running costs so close to £0 annual...
