    Fuji X Series

I got hold of a Gobe 10 stop filter a few weeks back and have to say i've been pretty impressed by it's quality. You can pick them up for around £25 and it's worth a shout if you want to try long exposures and not spend a lot of money.

    Fuji X Series

I used the 16-55 for a few days back in September, IQ is very good, but it is a big heavy lens, so if your trying to keep your setup fairly lightweight this lens doesn't help! I would happily use it again though, having the 2.8 through the full range is super useful and like i said, i was...

    Plastering

Thanks for the advice guys, looks like i give it a go with a hoover first then and see what happens. I've never been in this situation before so really was quite unprepared for all the dust! Lesson learnt though!

    Plastering

From other advice I've been given, using a dyson (which is what i own) can end up killing it as plaster dust is so fine. I've been told a couple of times now not to use a hoover.

Owning a dog for the first time

I have a 3 year old Chocolate Lab, he's nuts but i love him. This may have already been stated but - 1. if you getting a pup, make sure to pick it up after 8 weeks or more. Those first few weeks with his brothers/sisters and mum are crucial! 2. My partner took 2 weeks off once we got him...

    Paris

I've been to Paris for the last four years running (mainly to gig over there) And i don't think i've met a rude Parisian yet. But that might be just luck :-)

    Paris

Paris IS expensive. But i also think it's a great city and worth visiting if you can afford it. me and my better half stayed at Hotel Taylor, which is not too far away from Gard Du Nord, and by tube, is not to far away from the good stuff (the Eiffel Tower etc etc) The closer you get to the...

    Prague for a stag do

I went to Brno last year for a stag do. It's about 2 hours south of Prague, and a great city to visit. You get everything that goes on in Prague for about half the price, and the plane tickets are normally around £40 each way. The amount of food and beer costs over there in general is just...

    Route advice

It's ok, as always it depends on when you travel really. I have need to travel to London on a friday afternoon (5pm onwards) on the odd occasion and yeah it can be a bit slow, but i have never had major issues. If there is you can normally jump on to the A5 at J18 (i think) and head up the M42...
