Dead easy , will take you 30-40mins tops honest :) 1.Just insert your oem vista disk , boot from it and remove/create partitions as you see fit ( if you want to use mediadirect you have to boot from that and then move onto vista after creating partitions ) 2.Install vista , wont even ask...

The cmos reset jumper aint been moved ? I know on my mobo ( diff to yours )when you "reset" the cmos it actually lets you boot into bios to make changes , doesnt just reset the bios.

Running at 8800gts 640mb at 1680x1050 , getting a steady 40-50fps in bioshock dx9 at max settings :)

Do you just want text or graphics too ? The new M/O GX Typhoon range look nice and the software ( lcdstudio ) they use is free :D and dead easy to use. But my fav is Noritake vfds , not cheap but better than any lcd in my opinion.

Nope c2d at 2.9 with 2 gig mem , didnt say it was getting any lag but of of curiosity what scores do you get at 1680x1050 4x4x everything else max ? 29/47/62fps and 0/32/68% @ 4x 4x here 29/47/61fps and 0/34/66% @ 4x 8x 29/47/61fps and 0/36/64% @ 4x 16x :D

Running GTS 640mb @ 1680x1050 here and FEAR brings it to its knees if you crank up the AA+AF Go for the GTX if you can afford it ;)
