Lots of practice on the ho/po timing. I found I was going up the scale too quickly originally, but spet a while just practicing the opening and making sure the timing was uniform, then it fell into place.

Since my last post I'm now about 2/3 the way through expert and have got to the point where most of the songs on hard are now 5 or 4 star, theres still a few 3s though, even when I hit 93% of the notes! Grrrr. But at least I can get through all songs on hard without having to use star...

My guitar is also one of the so called iffy ones, had it since the game was released without any of the reported issues (and it getes a fair bit of a hammering from me!) so i'd try it for a few days, if nothings wrong, keep it.
