    Repladcent Bay Res and Pump

OK so I went with the monsoon m2. Arrived today. Thought it came with a d5 pump. Clearly not. There are 2 or 3 d5 pumps available on here but which one should I choose. There is an xspc one and a ek one. Are they both compatible? Is one better than the other. Xspc has put me off having...

    Repladcent Bay Res and Pump

Replacement Bay Res and Pump I have an XSPC Raystorm bay res and pump combo which seems to be on its way out. I would like to replace it with a new res and D5 pump. I have all the tubing etc required. I assume that the barbs can be swapped over onto the new res? I have seen the below, will...

Newb to water. Faulty Pump or normal

Well it turns out that when I got home that day, it was fine. I left it running for the 24 hours and the pump noise was back to the way it was before I went to bed that night. Its been running fine since and my 6800k is chilling at a low of 32c.

    Project Overkill v3

Well, this build log didn't really become a build log or go to plan but it is all fitted now and fully up and running. I had an issue with the mobo but this was quickly resolved by OcUK and a new board dispatched same day. The cooling was also a bit of a PITA as the case holes for the fans...

Newb to water. Faulty Pump or normal

Considering that the thing is only a few days old, is OcUK responsible for the RMA or is it XSPC?

Newb to water. Faulty Pump or normal

Yea, i done that a couple times last night and then again this morning before work. Made no difference, even power cycled the pump too with no difference

Newb to water. Faulty Pump or normal

What do you mean by venting. Loosening the return pipe from the rad to the res?

Newb to water. Faulty Pump or normal

I seen that other people are having the the same issue on the early versions too. I wonder how true this is with regards a washer - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B4ZwHY5pIlU Obviously I'm not going to do this as I have just bought this and if needs be I shall RMA it.

Newb to water. Faulty Pump or normal

I setup my new XSPC Raystom 750 X20 kit lastnight. Got rid of the air in the loop and left it running overnight as I want to do this by the book.... 24 hours it says. Initially the pump sounded noisy but I thought that this was normal due to only filling the loop and there was still air in...

    Project Overkill v3

Update 13-07-16 * New Samsung 850's and adapters arrived there this afternoon. * I'm going to ditch all of the mech drives bar one of the 500's (the other one died yesterday), there is just no need for the 2x 250's as I have an 8TB (4x 2TB Baracuda's) server for backups, storage and streaming...

    Project Overkill v3

This is pre upgrade/tidy up, give it time, I'm aiming to have this as aesthetically pleasing as possible considering the fact that its a windowed case on 3 of the 6 sides and there is not much hope for it being a show pony as there is limited places to hide cables without them being visible from...

[Project Bawbag] A long overdue gaming rig upgrade

Looking well, I'm in the same boat, not going to the extend you have with hard lines but going water none the less. Upgrading from a similar spec too! Here is the start of my 2016 build! https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18739875 Can I ask, are you building this in your place...

    Project Overkill v3

Pre mobo tray mod and new gear, believe it or not, this was a tidy clean setup when it was first built. Over the years its seen some neglect and removal of HDDs etc Up on the desk where it will have its new home, up off the floor rather than sucking in dust. Starting to remove...

    Project Overkill v3

This particular U2 UFO case does not support the mobo tray being placed horizontally, however this hasnt stopped me from doing so. I have got a piece of 1m 20mm x 3mm aluminium flat bar and bent it into shape. I have sprayed it gloss black to match the case.
