I know it's not an ideal solution, but I used a usb wifi dongle in my Ps3 when using the wireless on linux, worked perfectly. Although I got rid of linux on it ages ago, seemed kind of pointless as I never used it.
If you're after a decent TV for playing games on, a A Vistron 32" HD TV is the cheapest budget HD TV I know of. We have one in our office at work and it's really good.
Google will help you find one for £319.99 (Between 6 it's just over £50 each) and you'll get free shipping on it too...
I have 3 1kb files that I need to put into a shar file called endshar. I need a little help in getting this to work, I can't really find any documentation on the internet and the bits I can find aren't really helpful. Any help would be great. :)
Okay, I'm going to go for the Denon AVR1906 (AV Receiver).
It's a nice price for what I'm willing to pay, it also means I can get a nice DVD recorder to go along with it (I think it's the best way for me to play music and movies as well as record TV). After a while I'll get one of those cool...
I've just got a Sony Hi-fi at the moment (dvd player with 5 disc changer - That's the bit that's not working anymore). So the speakers are all the same with that, they're pretty decent speakers. I want to spend around 250-300 at most on an amp. I'd like to have around 5+ inputs for it and it to...
Yeah, I've been reading around. I figure that'd be a silly idea to buy something like that.
From what I've gathered reading around the internet (I'm a complete novice at this, apart from a few bits), it's best to get a good amplifer and then connect everything upto that.
Thanks for the suggestion. The unit is a little pricey for my likings though (Perhaps I'm looking in the wrong place?).
I've found this here from looking at all the usual high street suspects:
Google GOODMANS HEC142 Hi-Fi Surround Sound
What's nice is it has a DVD recorder with it as...
My hi-fi doesn't work anymore, so I need a new one.
Speakers aren't really a concern with a new one as I already have a decent set of these. But it'd be nice just to be able to hook them up as extra ones. I'm not bothered about cassette playback either as I've lost most of my cassettes...
I figured it out in the end. Thanks to everyone that responded. You rock. :cool:
It's a little silly what I've had to do -- My tutor for the programming side of my degree decided that he'd make us create a program in Java using some VB code as an example and put this as half of the marks...
I can't seem to get this code to work:
public void areaRectangle()
{
double area;
double itsHeight;
double itsWidth;
System.out.println("Okay, so you want to calculate a Rectangle");
itsHeight = readString("Enter the height of the...
Lexus's cost around £500 to be serviced (I think), so I wouldn't be suprised if it cost £1000 for some repairs. The more a car costs, the more expensive it'll be to repair.
