I’m starting to get a little concerned, it’s been around 3 weeks since I cancelled and now 10 days until it actually happens, and still no call from retentions :eek:

In fact just had a txt from Virgin Media reminding me that all is being cancelled and for me to call them if I’ve changed my mind :p

interesting! Similar to the £38p they offered me. Will mention I know of the £29 a month and see if they bite. Hopefully they will call me before it disconnects. It’s been a week since I asked to cancel :rolleyes:

Thanks for info, all noted. @GreatAuk how much are you paying for your M350 out of curiosity? I’d be happy with £36pcm for M500! My area is supposedly getting Toob FTTP in the next 18 months so hopefully this will be last renewal with Virgin. I’ve been with them on and off for around 20 years.

Hey folks, I’m trying to get a better deal from Virgin. They offered 1gig for £58 or M350 for £38, ideally I’d like 1gig for closer to £40. Is that feasible? I’ve put in for cancellation which is due mid March. I’m now just hoping they call back with a decent offer :eek:

I’m sure this has been discussed before but I’m trying to decide between the sapphire crystal and the ion x screens. Is the crystal worth the extra money? I’ve ion x at the moment and it’s gotten really scratched!

ah thanks that’s useful to know! Annoyingly I don’t have any other headset to try -edit- actually I believe the Bose are iphone specific so that could well be the issue. Doh!

Can someone with a Series X controller try out a random headset/mic with it? I’ve tried both my Bose and the standard apple headset you used to get with an iPhone and neither work. The Bose I get sound but the mic doesn’t work, the apple have a high pitch noise on them continuously. Both...

Thanks for the reply. They worked in my old Xbox one with a chat adapter on the bottom as the controller didn’t have a headphone port. It’s just a standard 3.5 jack for steep and mic so I don’t see why it wouldn’t work?

I also can’t get my Bose headset working with the controller? I get sound fine but can’t get the mic working.

ah excellent, glad it’s worked out well. What quality was your concrete floor before? I don’t have any cracks but a few little dips that area probably a little wide for the crack filler. I looked at the self levelling floor stuff but it seems over kill plus it costs a fortune!

Appreciate all the info and tips. I’m going to empty the garage tomorrow so I can get a good look at the floor. It’s really dusty so I’m not sure if hiring a grinder for a day or two would be sensible to try and prep it as much as possible. Either that or the acid etching. my other concern is...
