    Opinions on Car Change

Well there are cars that have that map standard, so between two cars with similar bhp they could drive very differently!

Depends on how it's delivered, my 440i probably only gained about that on paper with the mppsk but it was absolutely loads faster in reality, area under the graph etc

    BMW and M Power Owners

Nice. Mine was £683 for a year of comp warranty with breakdown with £250 excess, which isn't terrible given the engine itself is quite complex! I still find it odd that BMW group purely on the car "level", ie all 3 series/x3 etc together. Your x3 m40i will have been ~300 cheaper than someone...

Standing Desks - Cheap Ones worth it?

I did a lot of research into this, and given my height and how a lot of cheaper ones seem to either not extend as high, or are less stable at full height, or both, I opted to get a properly good set of legs and fit my own top to it. The Linak DF1 is re-sold by lots of other brands, but is...

    Sleep Apnea & Driving license

A CPAP machine of the standard the NHS use is about 500 quid, which feels like a far better option than waiting 9 months? Edit

Siliconslave's how to make espresso thread

What reasonably priced fruity coffee are people enjoying ATM? I've had an Origin "small office" subscription for the last few years and it appears they forgot to increase the price (was £20 a kg) but they now have realised and it's up to £28. At £20 nobody else could come close to the quality...

    RS3 insurance cost

Also interested, Admiral quoted me £33 to change from my m550i to a 2022 rs3 for the remaining 11.5 months of my policy, so pro rata about 860 quid? Meanwhile my wife's model Y performance is £1050, so look on the bright side :p

Three UK, anyone noticed that they are not as good as they used to be.

Can't comment on 3, but I've just switched to 1p mobile after years of Vodafone. I have an O2 work phone too and my wife is on O2. Around central London, Vodafone has been all but useless for the last 18 months, and O2 only barely better. 1p uses EE, and is not bandwidth restricted either. I...

    BMW and M Power Owners

That might be true on some BMW cars, but the g05 adaptive LEDs don't have matrix/beam splitting, just on/off for high beam. My g30 adaptives do everything and are absolutely amazing, but if getting an x5 you absolutely need to get laserlights because they crippled the "adaptive" LEDs
